Selena Gomez dated Twilight star Taylor Lautner

Selena Gomez has rubbished reports she's dating Justin Bieber.

The Disney teen was snapped arm-in-arm with the singer in Philadelphia on Thursday after having breakfast together at a pancake house.

'It was pancakes! Oh my gosh!' Selena, 18, tells Us Weekly. '[Justin is] one of my best friends...

'Who doesn't like pancakes? We were both performing in the same place so we went and had pancakes together. That's all it is. All innocent.'

Selena insists Justin, 16, is like family.

'I love Justin,' she tells MTV News.

'When he first started to come over from Canada his manager contacted me and he just said that he would like to meet me and he was just such a good kid...

'I feel like a big sister now, because I want to protect him.'

Victoria Beckham to join Kate Middleton for afternoon tea

Victoria Beckham is thrilled about her latest diary date - joining Prince William and Kate Middleton for afternoon tea.

'Both parties are very excited about it,' says a source close to the star.

'David, Victoria and the kids are spending Christmas in the UK so William thought it would be lovely to have them over. Victoria is really excited. She can't wait to meet them, particularly Kate.'

Football legend David became close to the future king during the 2018 World Cup bid last month.

'They spent a lot of time together and communicating by phone,' the source tells The People.

Whether Posh, 36, and Becks will be invited to next year's royal wedding remains to be seen, but a friend of David's reveals: 'He would be delighted to get an invitation.'

She is expected to join Simon on the panel for The X Factor in America - after landing a £3 million deal to cross the pond - so will need to get the packing crates out again.
'She is thrilled to be living near him,' the friend tells the Mail On Sunday, 'and will be looking for a place to rent in LA that's not far from him, too.'
