Anne Hathaway unharmed in Los Angeles car accident

Anne Hathaway was in a minor traffic accident in Los Angeles on Wednesday, police say. The star, who was riding in the car involved, was not injured.

‘She was a passenger in a vehicle that was making a turn in West Hollywood around 1 p.m. when a bicyclist hit their car,' Sgt. Dave Valentine of the West Hollywood Sheriffs Department said.

‘It doesn't appear the driver was at fault. She was interviewed as a witness. The bicyclist had minor injuries and refused help from paramedics. The incident is still being investigated.'

'I'm happy to confirm that Carrie Underwood is engaged to Mike Fisher, and the couple couldn't be happier,' her rep tells PEOPLE. 'No wedding date has been set at this time.'

The Ottawa Senators player spoke about the happy event on Monday, according to the Toronto Sun.

'It's true,' he is quoted as saying. 'We're both obviously excited and very happy.'

Fisher, 29, reportedly proposed at his home Sunday afternoon and then sent messages to his friends with the good news later that day.

The Hills star, 23, was sentenced to three years informal probation, completion of a 12-week alcohol education program, as well as three Alcoholics Anonymous meetings a week for eight weeks, and will pay a fine.

DUI charges were dropped in exchange for a no contest plea to one count of misdemeanor "exhibition of speed."

On the issue of whether she attended rehab, "Ms. Pratt voluntarily sought help from a doctor regarding substance issues but the doctor recommended that she didn't need rehab," Pratt's lawyer Jon Bryant Artz tells PEOPLE.



Following her Oct. 18 arrest, in which she was pulled over after attending Holly Montag's birthday party, Pratt said the incident "was the worst thing to happen to me and, at the same time, it was the biggest blessing" as a life lesson.

Jessica Biel, Emile Hirsch and Isabel Lucas reached the summit of 19,340 -foot Mt. Kilimanjaro Tuesday, the sixth day of their trek up Africa's tallest peak, in their quest to raise awareness of the global water crisis.

After enduring torrential rain and a blizzard earlier in the trek, the star-studded group of entertainers and activists started their final ascent of the Tanzanian mountain at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday. They climbed for seven hours, then finally reached Uhuru Peak, where they posed for a photograph holding a sign that read "SEND WATER."

With single-digit temperatures at the summit, the climbers were expected to remain at the top for no more than 45 minutes. They had planned to give a special shout-out to the father of Ethiopian-born musician Kenna, who organized the climb. Kenna's father lost several family members due to waterborne illnesses.

(The line was discontinued a year later.)
