Amy Winehouse Steps Out with Dapper New Beau

Is Amy Winehouse turning over a new leaf?

In March she was spotted locking lips with troubled ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil – but now she’s spending time with a new dapper guy.

The singer and moviemaker Reg Traviss, who directed the British film Psychosis, were pictured strolling together, holding hands and smooching in London's swanky Mayfair district this week.

Winehouse’s father Mitch told Scottish TV show The Hour that is he totally behind his daughter's new man. "I am happy she's got a new boyfriend, I am happy she's moving on with her life," he said.

And Winehouse, 26, is also working on a new album, which her record company – and her family – hope will be released this year. "It's in the pipeline and she's working on it right now," her father, 59, told PEOPLE at the launch party for his own album Rush of Love.




Amy Winehouse is only 5'2", but with her swoosh of black eyeliner and towering beehive – which she calls her "secret weapon"– she's larger than life. But it'll take more than a killer 'do to defeat this talented songbird's demons.

Back to Black – a brutally honest retelling of her breakup with Blake Fielder-Civil – has sold more than 3.3 million copies. But in 2007, the brilliant Brit was hospitalized for a drug overdose, checked into – and out of – rehab, and got busted for drug possession. She reunited with and married Fielder-Civil, only to have him hauled off to jail (they have since divorced and once again reunited).

In January 2008, Winehouse entered rehab weeks before winning five Grammys, including Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best New Artist.
