Piers Morgan made Cheryl Cole cry on TV

If our mum ever taught us anything it's that you should never make girls cry. So we can only imagine that Piers Morgan's mother is extremely disappointed right now. Not just because he's a bit of an odious tit, but because he made Cheryl Cole cry.
Cheryl was the latest interviewee on Piers Morgan's Life Stories, the programme which aims to make every single subject cry at least once, even if it means poking them with sharps sticks or making them chop onions. Cheryl blubbed while talking about the moment doctors gave her 24 hours to live after diagnosing her with malaria. She survived, obviously (yay). The interview airs this weekend on ITV1.

Seeing ladies, especially very pretty ladies cry, is not in any way nice, so lets look at photos of Cher when she was a bit happier.

Here's Cheryl happy because she's holding a puppy. Aaah, nice.

Here's Cheryl happy because she and her Girls Aloud bandmates have won a Brit award.

Here's Cheryl happy because it's obviously a hot day and she's found a nice ice cream to cool her lady garden.

Megan Fox gave out an award in LA

We brought you Blake Lively at the Spike TV Scream awards, and we brought you Nina Dobrev. But the one we didn’t bring you was a certain Megan Fox. We know, we’re sorry. She was being very subtle and keeping herself out of the limelight (by standing on stage and presenting an award in front of everybody) so we didn’t pick up that she was there earlier. Somebody wants to have ‘a word’ with us later…Megan has obvious experience in the field of horror/vampire films, with her role as a lesbian vampire in Jennifer’s Body very fresh in the mind. Unfortunately none of the female attendees like the aforementioned Lively and Dobrev were willing to recreate the kiss with Megan on stage – well, not as far as we are aware anyway, clearly we’ve been missing stuff lately.

Anyway, enough of our failings, you still get to look at Megan and that’s no bad thing. She was certainly looking rather fine as she handed out the award for Best Villain to Mickey Rourke. The last time we had a good look at her she was at the Milan Fashion Week and looking a bit too serious for our taste. Obviously she still looked hot – she’s Megan Fox – but on stage she was just all a bit sexier.
If you were angry we took so long to bring her to you when you started reading this article, we bet you’re just feeling a bit happier inside by now. The effect of the Fox.

Blake Lively is wearing a red dress at a party

Oh hey, Blake Lively? What you doin'? Oh having a lovely time at a celebrity party to celebrate the launch of a fancy phone? Cool, Blake Lively, that seems like pretty good thing to be doing on a Thursday night. We just watched Wednesday's Mad Men on Sky+. It was pretty much the best episode so far, but hanging out and having some nice drinks was probably more fun. And you look great there, in your red dress and your bad girl leather jacket.
Oh. You don't want to talk about that either? Well, we seem to be doing all the work here, Blake Lively. Maybe you should suggest a topic of conversation. As long as it's not Gossip Girl – we don't watch that.
Right. So you were just waiting for you mum. OK, then. We'll leave. This has been awkward.

Jessica Alba in Marie Claire Russia

Having laid-low after the revelation that she’s not actually naked in the film Machete – a fact which shattered the illusions of a lot of men in the world – Jessica Alba has made a pretty low-key comeback in the Russian edition of Marie Claire.

We’re still reeling from the Machete news here at http://last-celeb-news.blogspot.com/ – it’s the hope that kills you. In a matter of a few weeks we’ve had to go from what we thought was a starkers Jessica Alba to a very much fully clothed one. Nevertheless, Jessica is still pretty good to look at:Unfortunately, as see-through as her white top is, she’s covered up and gone defensive with a black item underneath in a kind of Man City-esque two holding midfielder’s move. We think she’s more suited to the Blackpool approach (no, not tangerine); going on the attack regardless, even if it means you end up getting spanked.

We’re not sure how long we can hold a grudge against Jessica for, seeing as she did actually say she’d never go nude in a film. We just saw it, liked it, and refused to believe it could be anything other than 100% Alba. We should learn from our mistake, but the next time there’s a suggestion of nakedness from her we’ll probably just come over all giddy and go through the whole process again.
Just don’t look in to her eyes - because they're a bit scary. No, Jessica, we’re still not happy about it. How could you? You ruined the dream. We…oh ok, we forgive you.

Halle Berry in a red dress is fantastic

Halle Berry is literally never not good. She has been blessed with sexy sexy genes and she is very good about sharing those with the world. For example, last night she went to an event called The Carousel of Hope Ball, which raises money for childhood diabetes. Now, she could have turned up wearing any old tat and just said, 'Look, I'm Halle Berry. I can wear whatever the hell I want and I'll still be the best looking person here, which is why I'm wearing this old sack and not caring'. But, she didn't do that. Because she's awesome. Instead she put on no bra, something red and silky and said, 'I am HALLE BERRY. Of course I look fantastic. Bam, bitches!'Look at her. She's phenomenal. The fact she's 44 is pretty much irrelevant. She would be incredible looking for any age.
In salute the glory that is Halle Berry, we have written a poem. It's quite a good poem. It goes a little something like this:

Oh Halle Berry, you are so very pretty
You wore a red dress and you did not look shitty
You are more dazzling that the shiny, shiny sun
We haven't had breakfast yet; we might get a bun

We'll leave you now because you're probably quite moved by that and need a few minutes to compose yourself.

Jennifer Garner

With a sweet, all-American face lit up by a megawatt smile and luscious lips, actress Jennifer Garner has catapulted onto Hollywood's A-list despite a comparatively short list of prominent roles.

After a recurring role on the WB's Felicity, Jennifer Garner got her big break as grad student-CIA agent Sidney Bristow on ABC's Alias in 2001. But, after five seasons on the show and a Golden Globe win, Garner took on the big screen: she appeared opposite Ben Affleck in the comic book caper Daredevil; buffed up for the crime fighting spin-off Elektra; and giggled in the romantic comedy 13 Going on 30. Meanwhile, she married Affleck in 2005 and went on to have two daughters with her Oscar-winning hubby.

Jennifer Aniston

Jennifer Aniston catapulted into stardom as spoiled-but-lovable Rachel Green on the hit TV series Friends. "The Rachel," her layered haircut, sparked a nationwide trend and transformed Aniston into a style icon.

In 2000, she married heartthrob Brad Pitt, but filed for divorce four and a half years later. When reports emerged of Pitt's romance with Mr. & Mrs. Smith costar Angelina Jolie, Aniston earned admiration from fans for her poise and resilience. But she quickly rebounded with her The Break-Up costar Vince Vaughn and younger heartthrob John Mayer.

Caught in the Act!
• A bespectacled Jennifer Aniston joined three girlfriends for dinner at Ty Lounge in New York City's Four Seasons Hotel. The actress, who nibbled on wild salmon and sipped Grey Goose vodka with limejuice, repeatedly broke into laughter as the night went on. "The ladies seemed to be having a really good time together," a witness tells PEOPLE.

• Meg Ryan also lunched with some ladies – including her little lady, 5-year-old daughter Daisy – at New York's Serendipity 3. Ryan, who turns 49 on Nov. 19, was having an early birthday celebration, and enjoyed black bean soup and the signature Frrrozen Hot Chocolate while chatting with her friends.

• Gossip Girl star Jessica Szohr surrounded herself with pals recently at Hemingway's Lounge in Hollywood. "She was laughing and telling stories and knocking back a few cocktails," a witness tells PEOPLE. "She looked beautiful and wasn't in the mood to hide it."

• It was a meeting of the funny minds when Ben Stiller, Judd Apatow and Jim Carrey came together for dinner at New York's Rouge Tomate, where they sampled items from the raw fish menu. Carrey, who has been filming Mr. Popper's Penguins in the Big Apple, came straight from set still dressed in his tux.

• Man on a Ledge costars Kyra Sedgwick and Elizabeth Banks took five from filming recently, kicking back with cocktails and wine at the Living Room lounge in the W Times Square.

What does Jennifer Aniston do after a long day of film acting? A little impromptu theater acting, of course.

The actress, 41, made a surprise cameo on stage Monday night as part of the 24 Hour Plays on Broadway charity event in New York. Surprising the audience and her castmates, she played the spirit of a dead dog in The Bitch Downstairs, one of six short plays written and performed in the space of 24 hours.

"She's known about the show for weeks, but whether or not she could perform depended on her shooting schedule. She actually came right from the set," a source said of Aniston, who has been filming the comedy Wanderlust.

Aniston shared the stage with Kyra Sedgwick, Sam Rockwell, Lee Pace and Nia Vardalos, among others, at the event, which was sponsored by Montblanc and benefiting the Urban Arts Partnership.

Dressed casually in jeans, a furry vest, a white tank and heels, Aniston mingled with friends at the afterparty at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill in Times Square. She chatted with actresses Elizabeth Banks and Leslie Bibb and hit the dance floor for a few songs before leaving around 1 a.m.

Aniston's good friend Kathy Najimy also performed in the plays but she stayed mum on whether or not she knew about Aniston's big surprise.

"I can't say! I can't say," she said with a smile. "She did fantastic, and the crowd went wild. What's not to love? It's Jennifer Aniston."

Jennifer Aniston's New
Costar Really, Really
Likes Her
Malin Akerman has a message for males who lust after Jennifer Aniston.

"Guys, get out there! Nab her!" the Couples Retreat and The Proposal actress, 32, told PEOPLE at Wednesday night's Manhattan launch party for Google's Boutiques.com. "She is every guy's dream."

Having just finished filming Wanderlust with Aniston and Paul Rudd, beauteous blonde Akerman says the cast spent so much time together on location, it was "a huge lovefest" – to the extent that she might even have formed a girl-crush of her own.

"Jennifer is one of my favorite people now. Not only is she an extraordinary actress, she is such a loving, genuine woman and fun. You want her to be your best friend," says Akerman. "She's amazing."

And despite her star status, Aniston's easygoing attitude came as no surprise to Akerman. "It's funny, because I kind of expected her to be amazing. I would have been more surprised if she hadn't been the great, down-to-earth girl that she is."

Jamie Lynn Spears

Long known as the kid sister of troubled pop star Britney Spears, Jamie Lynn made surprising headlines of her own when she announced her pregnancy at age 16.

The youngest Spears stepped out on her own in 2002 as a cast member of Nickelodeon's All That. After becoming a fan favorite – like former All That stars Amanda Bynes and Nick Cannon – the then 13-year-old got her own series, Zoey 101, which became the second highest-rated show among tweens, after TV juggernaut American Idol.

While Jamie Lynn dealt with the aftershock of her announcement, Britney managed to overshadow her sister when she was put under mental lockdown. But in June 2008, Jamie Lynn welcomed daughter Maddie Briann with then-fiancé Casey Aldridge.

Back Together?
A reconciliation between Jamie Lynn Spears and former boyfriend Casey Aldridge may be in the works, a source tells PEOPLE.

The couple, who split at the beginning of the year, "are working on things between them," according to the source.

Spears, 19, and Aldridge, 20, were spotted spending time together this week, catching Lady Gaga's concert Wednesday night in Los Angeles with Britney and her boyfriend, Jason Trawick. They also spent time hanging out at her older sister's house in Calabasas, Calif.

After calling it quits with Aldridge, Spears moved out of the Liberty, Miss., house she shared with him and their 2-year-old daughter, Maddie, and quietly began dating Louisiana businessman James Watson.

The former Nickelodeon star and Aldridge previously had planned to get married and set up a house together after she gave birth.

Jamie Lynn Spears Steps Out with an Older Man (Her Dad!)

Photographers on the hunt for a shot of Jamie Lynn Spears's new beau, Hammond, La., businessman James Watson, didn't luck out on her recent outing with a different older man.

Spears, 18, was snapped Friday in Kentwood, La., with her father, Jamie Spears – not Watson, 28 – and 19-month-old daughter, Maddie.
