Amy Adams is pregnant

Amy Adams and fiancé Darren Legallo are expecting their first child together, People has learned exclusively.

The couple, who have been together seven years, met in acting class in 2001 and became engaged in July 2008.

Adams, 35, will next be seen in the romantic comedy, Leap Year, which hits theaters on Jan. 8.

Jessica Simpson and Billy Corgan

Jessica Simpson and Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan have started dating - and are taking things slow, says a source close to the pop star.

'They are getting to know each other,' says the source.'He's a nice guy.'

On Friday, Simpson, 29, and Corgan, 42, were spotted together in New York City. She was in town earlier in the week for sister Ashlee Simpson Wentz's Broadway debut in the musical Chicago.

Corgan's spirituality may just be what appeals to Simpson. On Sept. 11, Simpson, who has often spoken about how important God is to her and whose father, Joe Simpson, is a former pastor, Tweeted: 'My friend, Billy Corgan, has a pure and enlightening outlook on faith.'

No matter where this new romance heads, a friend of Simpson's says she is happy that she is dating again - especially after Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo broke up with her the night before her 29th birthday this summer.

'She's a great girl,' says her friend. 'She's really sweet. She's had a tough year. She deserves the best.'

Kate and A-Rod broken up

She may have been his lucky charm, but Kate Hudson and Yankee slugger Alex Rodriguez needed more than luck to keep their romance alive.

‘They're over,' says a source. ‘They've been broken up for a couple of weeks. They just wanted things to die down around them. [Kate and Alex] both seem to totally fine. They decided to move on.'

Together since the spring, the couple were seen together all over the country and most recently in Europe where Hudson was doing press for her latest flick, Nine.

‘Kate decided to take her mom to some of the press stuff and premieres as her date - that was good for her,' says the source.

‘They both have kids and totally different lives ... They may not be done working it out though.

'Plus, in an interview Hudson gave on CNN's Larry King Live, airing Wednesday night, when asked how Rodriguez is, she responds, ‘Good, really good.'

She also says her dad Kurt Russell played baseball so she's been a fan of the game for a while.

Julianne Moore's new role: Bulgari model!

With four Oscar nominations to her name and a new Golden Globe nomination, Julianne Moore can now add jewelry model to her already-impressive resume.

The famous redhead will appear in Bulgari's spring summer 2010 jewelry and watch advertising campaign.

Shot by famed photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot in a Beverly Hills house, Julianne lounges in an exotic and opulent room decorated in rich brocades, jewel tone satins and peacock feathers while modeling 115-carat Colombian teardrop emerald earrings, Serpenti snake bracelets and the label's new ‘Chandra' bag in chestnut and Prussian blue leather, according to Bulgari.

The ads, which are being called ‘Eccentric Charisma', will debut in February 2010. Bulgari points to Julianne's ‘timeless charisma' and ‘inescapable magnetism' as well as her beauty, intelligence and confidence as the perfect representation of the Bulgari woman.
