She's already played a maid in Manhattan. Now, Jennifer Lopez's next role may be a lunch lady in the Golden Globe-honored Glee.
Show creator Ryan Murphy said backstage after Glee won for best comedy or musical TV series that he's hoping the 40-year-old star will accept an offer to make a guest appearance.
"I have a meeting with Jennifer Lopez in a couple weeks," Murphy said Sunday night. "She wants to come on. We want her to be a cafeteria lady."
Murphy says the interest in being on the show from A-listers like Julia Roberts and Julianne Moore is "amazing."
He gave a sneak preview for when the series returns in April.
"We are shooting right now a Madonna episode, a tribute to Madonna," Murphy says. "She may or may not be in the show. We are doing a great number with Jane Lynch and Olivia Newton-John. They are going to do ‘Physical.'"

Jamie Lynn Spears spilts from long-term boyfriend
Jamie Lynn Spears and boyfriend Casey Aldridge have split, according to sources close to the couple, and the former Nickelodeon star is now moving on in a new relationship with Hammond, La., businessman James Watson.
"She's going through a lot of changes," says a Spears family friend. "It has been painful. She's a young mother and struggling in a lot of areas."
Spears moved out of the Liberty, Miss., house she shared Aldridge and their 19-month-old daughter, Maddie, about six weeks ago and is now living with her mother, Lynne, according to sources. The teenagers had planned to marry after Spears, then 16, became pregnant, gave birth to their daughter and set up house together. After a wreck last April that landed Aldridge in the ICU after he crashed his truck, a family source told PEOPLE that Aldridge was "thinking a little more seriously about things." Still, a wedding never materialized.
"She did a lot of growing up but he didn't," says a source. "I think she put up with more than she cared to put up with. She just got enough of it and was tired of the situation."
Spears, 18, has recently begun dating Watson, 28, who owns a multimedia company close to Kentwood, La., according to a Spears family friend, who says, "he seems to be a nice guy."
Watson would not comment on his relationship with Spears when he spoke to PEOPLE. A rep for Spears has not commented on the status of their relationship nor her split from Aldridge.
Rather than stay in their former home alone, Aldridge is doing long-term construction work in another state, according to a source who spoke to him about the break-up.

Anne Hathaway admires Lady Gaga's style
Anne Hathaway looks as unequivocally gorgeous and radiant as ever on the March cover of InStyle - though she's probably the only person out there who doesn't see it:
'I think I've got really weird features. I have very large features on a very small head,' she tells the magazine.
'But, you know, I'm not going to beat myself up. It's my face. I'm not very pretty. But that's OK because I do know that I look like myself, and I think at the end of the day, as nice as pretty is, authenticity is more important.'
The self-effacing actress continues: 'If I don't work out at all, I have too much curve and no tone-which is not OK. It's about finding balance.'
Hathaway strives for equilibrium in the way she dresses too, with her tomboy-by-day, glamazon-by-night approach: 'In the evening it would never occur to me to go out in motorcycle boots like this,' she says, referring to the black Burberry pair she wore to her interview.
'I love going out in high heels and dressing up and glamming it up, and having there be a distinction between what happened throughout the day and the evening.'
As to where she finds style inspiration, the 27 year-old, who calls out Marc Jacobs as one of her 'all-time favorite designers,' has a long list of Hollywood peers who demonstrate 'innovation and originality,' including Tilda Swinton, Gwen Stefani, Lady Gaga, Selma Blair, and Natalie Portman, and says: 'I like people who are true to themselves.'

Sarah Jessica Parker wears Alexander McQueen
Alexander McQueen had dressed her in a chic green dress for the London premiere of Sex and the City and was her date to the 2006 Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala, the pair an explosion of plaid.
For Sarah Jessica Parker, the red carpet won't be the same without him. "I am shocked and overcome with grief upon learning about the untimely death of the quiet genius Alexander McQueen," says the actress and newly appointed chief creative officer and president of Halston, of the designer's apparent suicide. "My heart goes out to his family and all those who worked for and with him."
Of his creations, she says: "Every single inspired, original, lofty, whimsical, stunning, brilliant and jaw dropping detail was Alexander McQueen. There has never been anyone like him. And there simply never will be."
Parker also mourns all he had yet to design."What is more devastating is that despite all his success thus far, creatively, critically and commercially, his greatest achievements lay ahead of him. The future would be whatever he hoped to make of it," she says.
"God speed Lee. It has been a privilege for all of us to know you. You will be indescribably missed."
