After calling off their engagement in August, Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen are giving their romance another shot.

"They're dating again," a friend of the actress tells PEOPLE.

And they're not hiding, either.

Last week, Christensen was seen leaving Bilson's house in Los Feliz, Calif. With Bilson based in Los Angeles and Christensen living in Canada, distance was reportedly one of the main reasons for the split.

Christensen, 29, and Bilson, 29, met on the set of Jumper in 2007, and got engaged in December 2008.

• Daddy-to-be Vince Vaughn and expectant wife Kyla Weber enjoyed a celebratory night with friends on the rooftop of the W Washington, D.C. The group arrived around 10:30 p.m. and shared a round of drinks (non-alcoholic for her!) as funnyman Vaughn cracked wise. "They were all laughing," an onlooker tells PEOPLE.

• Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine and model girlfriend Anne Vyalitsyna engaged in a little PDA on the dance floor at LIV nightclub inside Miami Beach's Fontainebleau Hotel. The pair hung out behind the DJ booth, and the singer even grabbed the mic at one point. "He was having the best time," a witness says. "They didn't leave the club until 4 a.m. and were so sweet." The next day, they were spotted taking a romantic stroll along the hotel's private beach.

• Kings of Leon singer Caleb Followill treated girlfriend Lily Aldridge to drinks at New York's club Avenue Wednesday night after she walked in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. They were joined by Jason Statham and his girlfriend, model Rosie Huntington, and sipped Grey Goose, Patron and Red Bull cocktails. As the night wore on, the dancing began, and Followill reportedly impressed the group with his Michael Jackson-esuqe moves.

• Nicolas Cage and wife Alice Kim took 5-year-old son Kal-El shopping at Crystalarium in West Hollywood. The couple purchased several crystals, but spent most of their time doting on their son. "They looked so adorable together," an onlooker says. "They were holding hands practically the entire time. They looked like such a happy family."

While Olympic Medalist Michael Phelps and reality star-turned-jewelry designer Brittny Gastineau might seem an unlikely pair, they are in the early stages of dating, a source close to Gastineau confirms to PEOPLE.

"It's just started," says the source. "But they're really cute together."

The two were first spotted getting cozy Friday night at Los Angeles's Mondrian Hotel, where they laughed and talked the night away, finally closing down the bar, says the source. The next day, TMZ's cameras caught them shopping at Nordstrom at The Grove and picking up refreshments at the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf.

Phelps's reps could not be reached for comment, but the Gastineau source says the two bonded over their sports-related backgrounds. Phelps holds the Olympic record with 14 gold medals in swimming, while Gastineau is the daughter of gridiron great Mark Gastineau.

"She thinks he's a really sweet guy," says the source. "She understands his athletic background since her dad was an athlete."

But before anyone starts ringing wedding bells, the source warns that the romance is still brand new. "Brittny's been in long-term relationships her whole life. She's young and she's just having fun."

Julianne Hough calls her beau "phenomenal," when asked about him by the ever-inquisitive Ellen DeGeneres on Tuesday's The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

"He's really romantic," gushes Hough, who attended Monday's premiere of the movie Burlesque with Seacrest. "He's not even in town and I got in my car and there are flowers everywhere."

Poking fun at Seacrest's gesture, DeGeneres snaps, "That is romantic in a car – or it's crazy."

But Hough obviously finds it to be a sweet gesture. "For my birthday, same thing – flowers everywhere," she says. "I was almost embarrassed. You walk in [the hotel room] and you're like, 'Is this my room? I don't even know.' I'm kind of embarrassed."

Even though they have met each other's parents, Hough insists there's not a lot to be read into that.

"Everyone's like, 'Oh, you met the folks,' " she says. "It's like, I don't know. Both of our folks are like our best friends, so when we hang out, it's more like hanging out with friends."

For Courteney Cox, the show – and life – must go on.

"If we weren't friends and she didn't confide in me I wouldn't have any idea that anything was wrong," her Cougar Town costar Josh Hopkins tells PEOPLE. "She comes to set, she knows her stuff, and she's hilarious everyday. She's been amazing."

But Hopkins, who plays Cox's love interest, points out that some of the attention over the actress's split from David Arquette" has been noticed by Cox's 6-year-old daughter Coco.

"The day that the news of the separation broke, there were paparazzi outside of their house, and they were taking pictures when Courteney took Coco to school," the actor said Friday at the OmniPeace by Jordan Klein launch. "Coco sees these things, because that's not a normal thing in any respect and she is a precocious child."

Hopkins, who was supporting his costar/boss by attending the event at Kitson in Hollywood, says that while all adult relationships have their share of turmoil, the fact that the split involves two celebrities makes it unique.

"There's no doubt that they have a lot to deal with right now," he said, looking over at Cox who was sitting nearby, "more than you would in your average separation."

Capri Anderson was hired to escort Charlie Sheen to dinner, but the night ended with her locked in a hotel bathroom in fear for her life, she says.

"Towards the latter half of the night, it got really bad. He started yelling racial slurs," Anderson, an adult film actress, tells ABC News. "But it wasn't until he put his hands around my neck that I really thought to myself, you have gotten yourself in a bad, bad situation."

Sheen, 45, was reportedly found naked and intoxicated in the trashed New York hotel suite and taken to the hospital for the day. He later referred to the incident last month as "one bad night" blown out of proportion by the media.

But Anderson says Sheen was violent and abusive at the Plaza Hotel.

Will it be a spring affair?

A date in late April is emerging as a frontrunner for Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding, a palace source tells PEOPLE. "There is a date they have in mind, and it's a case of working it out with the relevant parties," a spokesman for the prince told PEOPLE Monday.

William and Kate, both 28, are focusing on the period just after Easter – around April 28 – but are still speaking to all the "relevant parties," such as the government and police, a palace source says. And there is reportedly a plan B if their first date doesn't work out.

The young couple informed officials of their preferred date and venue within a day or two of their engagement announcement on Nov. 16. Talks have been taking place since then to ensure the main guests can attend.

Palace officials earlier said in a statement that the wedding would be in spring or summer. Late April or early May would fit that, and would also be well ahead of the polo season that William likes to take part in.

Also, it would be after Easter and the preceding period of Lent, which Queen Elizabeth takes seriously and would want to observe.

Going forward, Kate will have meetings with senior staffers in the royal household to help her settle into the unique and rarefied atmosphere and workings of royal life and protocol, the source adds. The source in the prince's office adds: "She will have all sorts of preparations in the run-up to the wedding."

The couple, meanwhile, spent this weekend apart. William was at a bachelor party in the northwest seaside resort of Blackpool, while his fiancée spent Friday at her parents' Party Pieces company and was pictured for the first time with one of the prince's security detail alongside her as she drove her Audi.

For the first time since her Nov. 11 engagement, Jessica Simpson is opening up about how her fiancé, former NFL player Eric Johnson, popped the question.

"I actually had to sit on his knee I was so shocked," she said on CBS's The Early Show, while promoting her new Christmas album. Simpson added that he planned the proposal long ago, had already discussed it with her parents and "was a gentleman about it."

Simpson, 30, only began dating Johnson, 31, in May – but he's already become, as she put it, "the best man in my life. Sorry Dad!"

"The best thing about Eric is that he's just really thoughtful and he keeps me very centered," she said. "And always makes me feel like my feet are on the ground and is probably the most special part of my life."

And he proved his thoughtfulness, she says, by picking out the right engagement ring.

"I've already done the traditional thing so I just wanted to do something that was different," Simpson said of her three-stone ruby ring from Neil Lane. "It was all Eric's idea and he just wanted it to be special."

Simpson said she first saw the ring after Johnson proposed – but didn't try it on right away.

"I said yes and we both definitely were teary-eyed. I didn't even try the ring on until like, five minutes in," she said with a laugh. "I was so shocked, just kind of sat there and cried with him."

In short, she says with a smile, "He did good."

As for her other castmates, well, they're being supportive by staying mum.

"The first person to speak about [the bankruptcy] has to be Sonja," Alex McCord said. "We love her and adore her and … we're going to support her by being silent.

Morgan, whose bankruptcy filing listed $19.8 million in debt, still seems to be staying positive, saying at the time, "My current monthly income including support is about $26,000 per month. And I expect this income to improve as new opportunities materialize."

on DWTS Finale

Yes, Dirty Dancing star Jennifer Grey has had the time of her life competing on Dancing with the Stars this season. But that doesn't mean she'll perform a certain move made famous by the film.

"I won't be doing the lift in the finals," Grey tells PEOPLE, referring to the iconic scene from the 1987 movie when costar Patrick Swayze hoisted her over his head in a flying position.

"Everyone should not expect that," says Grey, whose doctor recommended against such a risk after she underwent the first of three neck surgeries a year ago. But Grey, who turned 50 in March, is still flying high as she readies with partner Derek Hough for Dancing's two-night season 11 finale.

"It so surpassed my wildest dreams. I'm so proud I was able to say yes in the first place and that I had the courage to do it," Grey says of her experience on the show, adding that it's been one of "the hardest thing I've ever done – except maybe childbirth."

Grey and fellow finalists Kyle Massey and Bristol Palin "are just so psyched," she says. "We all feel good and we're cheering each other on so much. We all feel that we made it so far and [being in the] finals is the gravy – the cherry on top."

Dancing's two-part finale airs on ABC Monday (8 p.m. ET) and Tuesday (9 p.m. ET) on ABC.

She is also extremely beautiful, something it can be easy to forget when someone spends a lot of time stood next to Cheryl Cole, who is also extremely beautiful, but more famous, despite not being as good a singer. Fame is tricky.




We can't remember the name of the pub where all the Q Awards winners go, but we were there once (on the night of the Q Awards, not just a random night). We saw Tom Jones outside, talking to one of the Sugababes. She looked well old. Don't smoke and go on sunbeds all the time, kids, or you might end up looking like an old Sugababe. Be safe.

She's forty-two years old which, when you look at her, is frankly astonishing. Think how long ago it was that she was playing 'Charlene' in Neighbours and singing "Everybody's doin' a brand new dance now (C'mon baby, do the loco-motion)". Bleedin' ages ago, that's how long ago it was.

Her songs did improve a bit from there, which was a good job, really - she'd have been unlikely to get an OBE "for services to music" for that little number.

Who'd have thought that 137 years on we'd be salivating at the prospect of her calendar adorning our bedroom wall for the 12 months 2011 will almost certainly contain?Calendars like this are a bit weird really, when you think about it. We always thought the idea of calendars was to write down things you need to remember to do, like:

21st January - buy bread
11th February - mum's birthday
2nd March - renew car insurance
1st April - April Fool's Day; don't get merked by wily pals...and so on and so on.

But on these calendars there's virtually no room to write anything, unless you scribble all over the space around Kylie's shapely frame, which would make the whole thing look significantly less stylish.So really, these calendars look nice but are largely pointless. Hmm, nice little segue into a thoroughly more interesting tangent.... Things that are pretty but pointless. So much to cover here.

Whether participating or observing, we all prefer live action to a two-dimensional screen. Not only are the sensory benefits much more acute, we don't have that added terror of our girlfriend/mum/dog walking in on us whilst attempting to impregnate a sock. Live action has something of the spectacle about it, and though often sordid (think Bangkok), if practised in the appropriate forum, and with the correct individuals involved, the more sophisticated voyeur will be amply satistfied. Cue Keira Knightley, who is set to play a female teacher accused of being a lesbian in a revival of the 1934 play The Children's Hour, due onstage in the West End next year. Scandalous, eh? Well, it was written when homosexuality was still a crime. It is a travesty of justice that it was only with the implementation of the Sexual Offences Act of 1967 that lesbianism was fully embraced.However, there is one potential spanner in the works, which, as a reliable news service, we feel we must inform you of. Take a deep breath. There is a POSSIBILITY that a certain actress called Rosie O'Donnell may be playing opposite Knightley as her lesbian lover. Now, we're not saying that this would put us off seeing the play entirely, but in all likeliness, it would put us off seeing the play entirely. So let's just hope that this is an unfounded rumour, nastily spread by killjoys who want to put a stop to people going to the theatre to ogle hot actresses whilst making faint grunting noises from the back row.

This is a rather insensitive headline, ill-becoming of a website of our quality and reputation. But, to be honest, we couldn't help ourselves, because she was too good for that Shia TheBeef anyway (we here at FHM do not hold long-standing, historical grudges, but out of principle we refuse to print his name in its original French because it ruins the poetic flow of our beautiful mother tongue). Following the split, she has been pictured looking rather rough whilst coming out of a £69-a-night Best Western in Los Angeles, where she is currently filming the new heist drama Drive. We will not be reproducing those pictures here, not only because it is disrespectful to take snaps of a lady when she isn't looking her best, but also because we don't want you departing this page en masse (We succumbed. How they have permanently soiled our language...). So, here's a picture of her looking hot instead.Now, a rather strange thing seems to have happened. We hope it's not some sick hoax. In the picture below, you will see Carey Mulligan, happily oblivious to all the photographers blinding her with flashes. However, look behind her, and there is unmistakably a grainy apparation of TheBeef. We don't think this is our minds playing tricks on us, like when we're in the street and we see what we believe to be a Curly Wurly on the floor, only on picking it up we discover it is in fact a Chomp. We like classy women here at FHM. And it doesn't get much posher than Prince William's lady-in-waiting (probably), Kate Middleton. Radiating style, elegance, beauty and a ridiculous amount of money, is there a mother in the country that wouldn't be overjoyed at seeing her son alongside such a consummate lady? Diana would have been proud. Sniff, sniff. Well, much as we'd like, we can't dwell on past tragedies. We're a forward-looking bunch here, which is why we are proud to be the first to announce the upcoming nuptials between our future king and queen. They haven't told us this information, but our powers of precognition are rarely wrong. In fact, our foresight is greater than all those Minority Report freaks put together. So, heed the word.This is the first time she's made a public appearance in 104 days, apparently. Well, considering the last time we didn't go out for that long we emerged looking like Worzel Gummidge, and, like the poor Chilean miners, had to wear sunglasses for the next fortnight, she looks considerably well. She made the rare outing for the wedding of showjumping legend Harry Meade and Rosie Bradford, and Wills was in tow looking rather worried as three of his former squeezes were also present. Unfortunately, we can't report that there was a violent catfight which resulted in Kate's attire being reduced to tatters as she valiantly fought each of them one by one. But we imagined there was. And we can't even show you a picture of her in scant clothing to perpetuate this vile myth. No, Kate's one girl who we're pretty sure won't ever succumb to the temptation of a Playboy shoot. Unless Prince Philip bumped off old Hef and then re-named it Saucy Sovereigns. Oh, Camilla.

Jennifer Lopez's dress is almost all there

Jennifer Lopez’s appearance at the Carousel of Hope ball (Haha. What? – Ed.) last night was a reminder that FHM’s former Sexiest Woman in the World - and the first woman to have won the award back-to-back – can still shake it with the best of them. Since dropping out of the top ten in 2005, Lopez, now 41, has had twins, set up a Twitter account and, most recently, made a movie called The Back-up Plan that is so bewilderingly shit that even FHM’s girlfriend said, “Please, please turn this crap off”. Don't, whatever you do, go anywhere near it. Not even out of curiosity. It will BITE you. But hey, what a body:Performing on stage with Wayne Rooney, Lopez wore what is known as a Zuhair Murad dress, a sparkly silver number that made her look 1) amazing and 2) like a glam-rock jellyfish. If Jake Shears from the Scissor Sisters was watching at home in his assless chaps, he was watching at home in his assless chaps and boiling with jealousy. Oh boy, just look at her…How does she stay in such good shape? Something called Krav Maga, which is a Jewish sreet-fighting technique that’s so good it’s used by both the FBI and Mossad. So, even if you do ignore our advice and do watch The Back-up Plan, don’t tell Lopez what you really think of it to her face. She will hurt you. And then Wayne Rooney will eat you. And that will suck.

Kara Tointon is a bad girl for TV interview

Surprisingly, we are rather fond of Loose Women. That's the daytime TV programme we're talking about, not females of low virtue, heaven forbid. We think it's amusingly refreshing to have a show where female chauvinism is displayed in all its glory. These are women unafraid to talk about sex and never mince their words. The saucy minxes. Even if those doing the majority of talking include Carol McGiffin and Denise Welch, it still gives a fascinating insight into the workings of the female mind, and, more importantly, anatomy. Don't bother playing the new Halo game or trying to decipher, for the fiftieth time, if Bubbles is actually speaking English in The Wire. Just watch Loose Women, and most of your anxieties will be solved.
So, Kara Tointon appeared on this (as we have already established) fantastic show yesterday, ridding of her nice-girl image in a low-cut, sleveless leather jacket, studded boots and belt, and tight jeans. It's a shame she didn't have a barbed wire tattoo enveloping her left arm, because that would have completed the new image entirely. Fresh off another week of Strictly Come Dancing, where she is the bookies' favourite to win, she talked about a possibility of a romance with her dancing partner. Which we didn't like. So we chose to dismiss it as a typical publicity-seeking media-hype comment aimed at reeling in more viewers. Tell us that's what it is. Please. Otherwise I don't think we could go on.

Jessica Alba green room Machete gun

WOAH. Jessica Alba is holding a gun in a green room because she’s in the film Machete. Maybe that’s the reason. Or maybe it’s because the scene in which she’s holding the gun is actually ON THE BLOOMIN’ MOON and director Robert Rodriguez didn’t have the budget to send Alba to the moon so he decided to draw it in afterwards instead. Unlikely, given that it’s about cowboys and moustaches and some ex-American policeman (therefore: cop) going on “a brutal rampage of revenge”.

Having watched The Killer Inside Me recently we’re just pleased to see 29-year-old Jessica Alba looking healthy again because Casey Affleck gives her some enormous beatings in that film and it’s ever-so-slightly disturbing. If only she’d had a gun and a nice green background to protect herself. Everything might have been okay. Casey (SPOILER ALERT!) wouldn’t have had to blow himself and everyone else up if Alba had had a gun in the first place.

Sienna Miller is smiling in Los Angeles

Here’s Sienna Miller looking rather good out in Los Angeles. It appears that she had managed to shake off Jude Law for a while looking at these pictures, and Sienna seems pretty happy about it. In fact she’s looking so smiley that you’d probably misread it and offer to buy her a drink. But then Jude would appear and punch you, so don’t.

Admittedly, Sienna was actually out on the red carpet over in the States last weekend, but we really doubt that she’s got any less hot over the past 10 days and we thought you’d appreciate seeing her. We know, it’s not quite cutting-edge breaking news but look at her face:Are you telling us that you’re still not happy? Exactly. Sienna – who will be coming to your massive cinema screen soon with her latest film Hippy Hippy Shake – has had to deny that she’s hitched to Mr Law lately, with rumours of a secret wedding flying around. As if Christmas wasn’t bad enough already, it seems as if the upcoming holiday season has become the cause for Victoria’s Secret Angels - like the latest addition to the lingerie giants’ stable of beauties: 21-year-old Erin Heatherton - to cover up and wear stripy pyjamas. Probably so they don’t catch a chill. Lingerie models get cold too, you know.

We’re just 59 days away from Christmas and the good people at Victoria’s Secret have already got a catalogue ready for the 2010 holiday season, which features Adriana Lima and Candice Swanepoel alongside Erin, but wearing slightly less.

We’re quite sure the catalogue’s a treat they’ve given us for Christmas, as opposed to their method of making millions from selling their bras and knickers and stuff for men to give to their better halves as a gift. Yeah, that’s definitely the reason.
Being the business experts we are here, we reckon that we may have spotted a flaw in the Victoria’s Secret catalogue’s release date, as we think they could have released the catalogue around December 20, because no man with a female partner will be thinking of buying Christmas presents any length of time before they actually need to. No man. And if you are someone that has started buying presents already: shame on you - you’ve still got two months.

Pyjamas and silly all-in-one sleep suits appear to be all the rage with women at the moment, but fear not lingerie fans around the world, Erin’s not mindlessly following fashion, as it seems she was wearing lingerie under her pyjamas, all along. She’s such a tease.

We realise that Taylor Cole is a new face to FHM, so we’ll take things nice and slowly. Like a proud father teaching his firstborn to ride a bike without stabilisers, we’ll be right there behind you. We’ll strap your helmet on nice and tight. We’ll make sure your knees and elbows are well padded. We’ll guide you along a quiet, leafy, suburban street, holding the saddle to overcome any early wobbles. Before you know it, you’ll be speeding away, leaving us standing on the pavement with a tear of salty pride in our eye. Then everything will go black and white and Bob Dylan will start to play… Sorreee, got a bit carried away there.

Taylor popped up on our radar recently because she's starring in new US drama The Event which started over here on Friday. This is her in the programme, playing her character 'Vicky Roberts', which sounds significantly less sexy and showbiz than 'Taylor Cole':Taylor was a junior Olympian in volleyball, which probably explains her fabulous figure. We don't have any pictures of her playing volleyball (tweren't beach volleyball, anyway), but we do have this snap of her wearing little shorts, some trainers and a sweatband, so maybe you can pretend:
