Paparazzo rear-ends Jackson family car

A paparazzi photographer following Michael Jackson's children got into an accident Wednesday with one of the family's vehicles in Los Angeles, according to police.

'The damage was minor and there were no injuries,' says Sgt. Ann Pickering. 'A report was taken and it's under investigation.'

It wasn't known whose car was struck in the San Fernando Valley except that it wasn't the one carrying the late singer's children. The Jackson kids are often accompanied by a nanny and security guards.

Where's your bum gone, J-Lo?

Her bootylicious curves catapulted her to fame, but Jennifer Lopez's famous bum was officially missing in action when the star stepped out in LA last month.

The 41-year-old's trademark curves have been whittled away after she embarked on a new training regime of squats and Pilates to tone up.

‘Jen's butt has definitely shrunk in recent months,' a source tells Now.

‘She's trying everything to get her weight down, particularly her butt as that's where she puts on the pounds most easily.'

Already body conscious after shedding the 2st 12lb she gained during her pregnancy with twins Max and Emme in 2008, Jen's upped her exercise regime further after signing up as a new judge on American Idol.

Now a svelte UK size 6, she knows that all eyes will be on her - and her famous derrière - when the show returns to US TV in January.

‘Jennifer's been doing endless squats holding a medicine ball while she lowers her body down,' says our source.

‘She's also been using a Pilates reformer machine at home and can spend over an hour a day doing leg work.

'But her favourite is an exercise where she gets on all fours on the floor and rests a small ball between her bended leg, with the sole of her foot facing the ceiling, then raises the ball up. Those lifts are the best thing to tone the tops of the thighs and butt.'

We're loving the new bod, J-Lo, but don't let that trademark booty disappear completely!

Man formally charged in Lindsay and Audrina burglaries

The suspected burglar caught on video breaking into the homes of Lindsay Lohan and Audrina Patridge has been formally charged with two felonies, Los Angeles prosecutors announced Tuesday.

If convicted, Calabasas, Calif. native Nicholas Prugo, 18, faces up to six years in state prison. He was arrested last month and is free on $100,000 bail.

Prugo is accused of breaking into Patridge's house on Feb. 23 and allegedly taking more than $43,000 in jewelry and designer clothes. Lohan's home was burglarized on Aug. 23 and an estimated $128,000 in jewelry, designer clothes and accessories were taken.

A source close to the case says two more accomplices, including 19-year-old suspect Rachel J. Lee, may be charged soon.

Prugo's attorney, Sean G. Erenstoft, wasn't immediately available for comment.

Prugo is expected to enter a plea on Nov. 12.

Paris Hilton has collected her stolen belongings

Paris Hilton, who was burglarized last year of an estimated $2 million in jewelry, has gotten most of her valuables returned by the LAPD, her rep confirms.

‘Paris went to the police station last night to retrieve her stolen belongings,' her publicist Dawn Miller tells People.

‘She didn't get everything but fortunately most of her jewelry was returned. She is really pleased and thankful to the LAPD for their help.'

Paris, 28, is one of a string of celebrity victims of an alleged burglary gang comprised of mostly teenagers.

Suspect Rachel J. Lee, 19, who detectives believe is the ringleader, was arrested in Las Vegas Thursday, and remains in custody. Lee had an apparent fascination with celebrity fashion, a source close to the case tells People.

The crime ring is also believed to be responsible for the recent break-ins at the homes of Lindsay Lohan, Audrina Patridge and Orlando Bloom.

It remains unclear whether the gang was responsible for other recent burglary victims, which include Rachel Bilson, Hayden Panettiere and Kourtney Kardashian.

Other suspects arrested in a sting operation Thursday include Courtney Ames, 18, Diana Tamayo, 19, Alexis Neirs, 18, and Roy Lopez, 27.

Nicholas Prugo, 18, was arrested last month and has been formally accused of the Lohan and Patridge burglaries.

Reached for comment, Prugo's attorney Sean G. Erenstoft stated: ‘I commend the LAPD for apprehending the major culprits in these capers, and I'm confident that Mr. Prugo will be found to have had a limited role in this case.

‘We're pleased that stolen property is being returned to its rightful owners.'

Ames and Neirs have been released after posting $50,000 bail each.

Patrick Swayze's widow: I will see him again

Patrick Swayze's widow Lisa Niemi spoke from the heart Tuesday about losing her husband just six weeks ago, telling a women's conference that the loss ‘is like an animal all of its own' and the sadness could be felt ‘on a cellular level.'

‘When the grief takes you, it's like your body is not your own,' Lisa, who was married to the actor for 34 years, said during a roundtable discussion on Grief, Healing and Resilience at the Women's Conference 2009 in Long Beach, California. ‘I'm just going with the flow. I know I have to go through it.'

Speaking for the first time since Patrick's death, Lisa says she's relied on a close group of friends to get through some of her darker hours.

‘I have a few girlfriends that are just amazing. They have made themselves available to me 24/7. They say, 'We don't care if it's 2 in the morning, call me',' says Lisa, her blond hair pulled back into a loose bun and wearing an all-black dress.

‘I was in the middle of a full-blown panic attack one evening ... and I picked up the phone and called one, which is really hard for me to do because I'm used to being so self-sufficient and taking care of myself, but the very act of picking the phone up to call someone helped to calm me.'

Final Regret

Even though Lisa told Patrick many times every day in his last months, ‘I love you, I love you,' and never left his side, she admits, ‘I've spent two thirds of my life with him. ... My regret is that I didn't tell him that I loved him enough over that entire 34 years.'

‘I am so grateful for what I had and my connection to him, and part of me believes that I will see him again,' says Lisa, her voice breaking, "and I'm just going to have to go on until then."

Lisa was joined on-stage by Elizabeth Edwards and Susan St. James, both of whom lost children in accidents.

The discussion, held before a crowd of 14,000, was moderated by California First Lady and Women's Conference host Maria Shriver, who this summer lost her mother Eunice Shriver and uncle Ted Kennedy.

Tsunami of Grief

Describing her feelings about their deaths and the ‘tsunami of grief' that has followed, Maria told the crowd: ‘Grief cracks your heart into little pieces and that hurts, big time, big time.

‘It's hard to concentrate, it's hard to see, it's hard to feel, it's even hard to breathe.'

Despite how put-together she may appear on the outside, Maria says, ‘Every minute of every day I can feel my broken heart.

‘I tell all of those close to me, "Don't worry, I'm fine, really, I am..." The real truth is I'm not fine. The real truth is that my mother's death has brought me to my knees.'

Kelly Preston had agreed to join in the roundtable discussion and talk about the death of her son, Jett, but had to drop out.

‘Kelly called to say it was just too painful for her to talk about Jett," says Maria. ‘She said the grief was still too debilitating for her. And I totally understood.'

But for Maria, Elizabeth, Susan and Lisa, the Women's Conference was the ideal forum for sharing their journey with others.

‘We all hope that this panel will help the grief-stricken among us to see that there is light at the end of what seems like an endless tunnel,' says Maria.

‘It is our hope that this conversation will give anyone out there dealing with a broken heart or a shattered soul a sense that you are not alone. Because you are not.'

The Women's Conference 2009, hosted by Maria and Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, gathers more than 100 newsmakers and world opinion leaders with 25,000 women from all walks of life for to be ‘educated, inspired and empowered to be Architects of Change in their own lives, within their communities and around the world.'

Mark Wahlberg expecting a girl

It's an equal-opportunity family for Mark Wahlberg, who's expecting his fourth child with wife Rhea Durham.

'I'm having another girl,' Wahlberg told PEOPLE at GQ's The Gentleman's Ball at New York's Edison Ballroom on Wednesday. 'So I'll have two girls and two boys.'

But four is probably enough for the Boston native, 38.

'I'm the youngest of nine, and my dad has a few others. No, four is enough,' he said.

'We were all raised with a lot of love. But we didn't get the kind of attention I think that we all needed. My parents had to provide to put food on the table. My mission in life is to raise my kids right. With all the success I've had in the world, if I fail at that, my life means nothing.'

Still, Wahlberg says he'll leave family planning up to Durham, a former model.

'My wife is allowed to pick the magic number ... as many as she wants to have,' he said. 'What I want to do is I want to raise my kids right. I want to give them the world, but I also want them to appreciate it.'

As it is, brother Jim Wahlberg said he suspects Mark's clan will continue to grow. 'He's good to go! He ain't stoppin',' said the sibling. 'He's got beautiful kids.'

Wahlberg and Durham are parents to Ella Rae, 6, Michael, 3 ½, and Brendan Joseph, 13 months.
