Jay-Z and Tinchy Stryder, who jointly own record label Takeover Roc Nation, are big fans of X Factor contestants Cher Lloyd and Katie Waissel.They reckon Katie, 24 - who was voted off the show last week - and 17-year-old Cher have so much potentional, they're keen to sign them both up.
'Cher is cool. She stands out. I like the way she can rap and sing,' says Tinchy.
Simon Cowell's Syco record label has first option on both girls, but Jay-Z and Tinchy are hoping they can work out a deal with the music mogul.
'Cher is a real target for Jay-Z because she's proved she can sing really well, rap - and she's got great stage presence,' an insider tells the Daily Star.
'After Cher there's an interest in Katie too. She's quirky and no once can argue that she doesn't bring in the headlines.'
