Lily Allen's Condition Improving
Get well soon, Lily!
It seems fan mail and doctors' care have Lily Allen on the mend as she fights a blood-poisoning condition that can be fatal.
The 25-year-old was rushed back to a clinic Friday to treat the bacterial condition, just days after the tragedy of losing her baby.
Her rep Murray Chalmers confirmed to PEOPLE that she was "being treated for septicaemia." But she is showing encouraging signs, and. Chalmers says she "is responding well to treatment and her condition continues to improve."
Sources close to her have told how she has been boosted by the number of supportive letters that have been sent her in the past week. "Lily thanks everyone for their messages of support and again asks that she and partner Sam Cooper be left alone whilst she recovers," the statement from Chalmers adds.
