In July, an aspiring musician named David Osborn died in a tubing accident. An insider claims Lovato had grown close to the rocker, who she met at a mutual friend's party in December. Soon after his passing, Demi Tweeted:"Can't wait to see you again in heaven... Texas isn't the same without you... RIP Dave Osborn."
While it's possible the death of a loved one played a role in Demi's demise - which culminated in a physical confrontation with a backup dancer in Peru - the same source that denies this troubled star used drugs also tells People her downfall was related to a lot more than just one incident.
